The futility of hardcore psi skepticism [Article]
14 December, 2012
“To explain the visual input we receive and the resultant images we construct and perceive, we have to acknowledge that the brain is hardwired to decode energy waves and their frequencies/vibrations. Where the major differences in belief, perception, and, consequently, awareness come in is that the brain is not passive in decoding the wave input. It edits and rewrites information constantly.”
Huffington post – Not Second Sight, But First Sight [Article]
“There is a new theory about your mind — about where your decisions and experiences come from before you are aware of them. This theory has solid science behind it, and it suggests that there is a lot more going on in your mind than you realize.”

We May All Be Psychic: Data From 14 Year Global Consciousness Study Released [Article]
January 6, 2013 8:52 pm
“The original title of this post was going to “Highly Significant Data of 14 Year Global Consciousness Study Shows Evidence of Synchronicity”, but that was kind of a mouthful. Besides, I actually wanted people to read this, because the results of this study can’t really be understated: there is “highly significant” evidence that we may all be psychically linked.”
Lyn Buchanan CRV – Ideogram Drill
“Don’t watch it because the internet speed doesn’t jive with Lyn’s voicing the words — there’s a lag between seeing the word “water” on the screen and hearing him say it. If you just minimize the screen you can still hear him saying the words and you can write your gestalts.I’m sorry it is one set speed, but if you had no ideogram drill at all, now you do. Yes, your subconscious will eventually remember the sequence but once again, if you had no ideogram drill at all, now you do.I realize that some viewers don’t think ideograms are helpful. Others do. Either way, here it is. Hope it helps!
The Academic Route to Parapsychology [Article]
Guest post by Linda Forshaw – 6 jan, 2013.
“At first glance you might be forgiven for thinking that mainstream science and parapsychology have little in common. Indeed a bias against acceptance of the validity of parapsychological research has often led to the closure of academic parapsychology laboratories in the U.S.
Although there are still a number of private institutions and organizations conducting parapsychological research, just two public universities in the U.S. currently have laboratories of this kind: The Laboratory for Advances in Consciousness and Health at the University of Arizona and the Division of Perceptual Studies at the University of Virginia, and no colleges or universities have degree programs in the field of Parapsychology in the United States.”
Parapsychology Trial Registry Launched [Article]
“A webpage for registering parapsychological experiments has been implemented by the Koestler Parapsychology Unit (KPU) at the University of Edinburgh, with Jim Kennedy advising on the development of the registry. The value of study registration for a controversial area such as parapsychology has been mentioned many times over the years. Prospective registration of experiments provides a database for research synthesis that is not subject to possible reporting or publication biases. Registration also increases confidence by providing clear evidence that the key hypotheses and analyses were planned prior to conducting the experiment. Among other benefits, registration should be of value to editors and reviewers during the publication process. Registration of experiments is a well-established practice in medical research and enhances the credibility of a study.”
