Remote Viewing – Newsgroup/posts
In the early days of the public explosion of Remote Viewing (circa ’95-98) the interest in Remote Viewing bloomed and no where more so than in public newsgroups and email list groups. In these environments many of the legends ( Joe McMoneagle, Paul H Smith, Lyn Buchanan, amongst many others) of remote viewing and the military RV program (Star Gate) answered the questions from the public, new students in their droves. these archived resources are a fantastic reservoir of historical fact and knowledge for anyone interested in the history of remote viewing and the people involved and also for those trying to expand their knowledge of remote viewing.

It began in April 1997 and ended in July 1998. I’m still working on getting the rest of the posts archived here.
Half a dozen former military intelligence remote viewers participated with the public, psychics, and RV students of many different methods schools. Just about every beginner’s question you can think of was addressed in the Viewer group — usually more than once. If you really want to learn something about remote viewing, these archives are invaluable.
“The following index was compiled from almost 4 megs of email list archives. Only the postings from the former Ft. Meade remote viewers, and a few other well-known personalities in the RV field, have been included. In order to understand the context for the postings noted here, you will need to read the entire thread, which generally occurs in the same archive file, or very nearby. Some knowledge of formal RV training, as taught by these individuals, is needed to fully understand the comments made, but these conversations will be highly informative for anyone. – Skye Turell (7/13/00)”

Star Gate elist
[STARGATE] The Star Gate list was established in April 1998 by Steve Crietzman, and then adapted in June as an alternative for PJ Gaenir’s Viewer List which was planned to cease operation July 4, 1998. It acquired most the membership of the 250+ VWR list and replaced it as the RV field’s “leading central” discussion point and continued to grow in size.
By Spring of 2002 it had a membership of around 400. At that time (and somewhat prior), other online discussion venues began to come about and grow, and the RV community became much more diffused in communication sources as a result. When this archiving began in late June 2006, the list had around 520 members.
